Dare’s Nemesis

Ok, here it is. The dreaded stride regulator. Looks innocent enough, right? Isn’t if funny how a silly old piece of PVC cut in half and laying on the ground can be so complicated? LOL After all it’s only purpose for us was supposed to be to help the dog find the correct take-off point for the jump we are working. Doesn’t do it’s job though if the dog thinks that it’s a marker saying. “Place your front feet as close to the front of me as possible”. Anyway, I just thought I’d post a little picture of the beastly thing.

I think after all this hard work, Dare and I are going to need to sit down in front of an outdoor fireplace and just relax for a while. :-)

  1. hehe, I don’t know that it really matters if she ever understands how to use it as it’s intended. I just thought we’d give it our best shot, since this trainer is working so hard to help us.

  2. Well, ours has been white for years Diana, or more accurately a shade of yellowing white now. LOL The striping is a whole new thing to see if it made any difference to Dare, but it didn’t. Just looks fancier.
