We still haven’t seen any signs of Gertie. I don’t know whether to think she’s just hiding out, or to think that there was internal damage done that I didn’t realize at the time. Either way, what I’d like most is just to know for sure.
Maybe tomorrow will bring a sighting of her. On a good note, there are lots of places that she could have found to settle in and feel safe and be protected from the weather because there are lots of haystacks, metal building, wood sheds etc. around here. Cats are pretty resourceful, right?
Fingers crossed that she just got spooked and is curled up somewhere waiting to make sure the coast is clear.

Cats are very resourceful! Sure hope she comes out of hiding today. Not knowing is definitely the worst!
