Video From ASCA Agility

Ok, so far I’ve managed to get a couple of the videos from this weekend, uploaded. Unfortunately, I didn’t get either of Zoe’s Gamblers Q’s filmed. :-( I usually don’t even bother to ask anyone to film Gamblers because it’s almost always a mess. Guess it just goes to show that I shouldn’t assume the worst.

Here’s one of the Standard runs from Saturday.

And here is one of her Jumpers runs from Saturday.

In other news…my husband went into the cabinet shop the other day to pick up something, and he got some really sad news. I guess they are finishing up a couple final jobs, and then they are closing their doors permanently. I’m so relieved that my husband was able to find a job when he did. At the same time, it’s just heartbreaking to think of the situation that his old boss is in now. He and his family are absolutely wonderful people. I really, really hope that something works out for them soon!

  1. Great runs! What cool courses, especially the jumpers run.

I saw an ASCA trial advertised somewhere in our area, but didn’t know much about ASCA, so I deleted the email. I may have to look into it….

Was that a wooden dog leash holder at the end of the run?
    .-= sara´s last blog ..tricky t-day ~ pull =-.

  2. Awesome runs! Zoe responds well to front crosses like me! Congratulations on such a great weekend!

Sorry to hear about the cabinet shop – when are things going to start improving? I don’t see it yet…..

  3. Wow, looks at all those front crosses in your jumpers run. WhooHoo! Love the rear cross on the flat in the standard run. great job. Diana

  4. Good job! So fun to watch!!

Bad news about the shop….it’s so hard to get quality work and it’s hard to see a good place close. My best wishes to them…

  5. Sara,

ASCA is reallly fun. Even though it’s the Australian Shepherd Club of America, it’s open to all breeds. It was funny at this trial, our judge was from PA and he said that this was the first ASCA trial that he’d been to where there were less Aussies than other breeds. Oh, and it’s a metal leash holder. It is really heavy to have to move, but it looks cool. LOL
