We all know I’ve been griping for months about the cold and the snow. Well, last week we had a good thaw and it was a horrible muddy mess, but it finally all seemed to be close to drying out when we got hit with that storm that dumped 7 in. of new snow on us. Bleh. Well, once again, it’s warmed up enough to really get things thawing and here’s what greeted me at the front door today.
As you can see, keeping my house clean for the next little while is going to be a real task. LOL It never ceases to amaze me how dirty these two can get. But, they sure do have a good time running and playing out there, so I guess a little clean up is well worth it. 
In fact it’s not really anything to complain about. It’s not something serious like if someone we knew had Mesothelioma Cancer or something. Today I’m really grateful to have what teeny tiny problems are mine. I’m going to try to keep in mind that these two muddy girls are trying to tell me that spring and warmer weather are just around the corner.

Mom keeps wishing our snow would melt away but I remind her to be careful what she wishes for – LOL! Dare and Layla are two of the muddiest dogs I have ever seen! Cute, but muddy!
Isn’t that true. Be careful what you wish for! LOL
Oh, do those girls ever look HAPPY! Nothing like running around in the mud to make a dog smile. Hey, Marie…here’s a challenge for you: Teach them to wipe their paws when they come in the door. I’ve known dogs who were taught to do that, and it’s a delight to watch!

Hehe, that would be a huge challenge Jim. As you and Barbara know better than I even do, it’s difficult to get reliable behaviors when you’re dealing with multiple dogs. I could see teaching one or two dogs to wipe their paws when they came in, but 7? You must really think I’m talented.
LoL, Looks like my dogs. Except our problem has been to much rain. My yard is a mud pit. Everytime I think its getting better , more rain. Im looking forward to summer, even if it is 100 degrees out. Diana

Bleh, rain or melting snow, both such a mess. I am really looking forward to summer too. But it’s looking a quite aways down the road this morning. I woke up to another covering of snow on the ground over the mud.
LOL! I think they look kind of sheepish…like, “We know, we know, don’t track mud into the house!”
