Well Ricky, I think your mom just needs more dogs so that she can be running in Excellent and Novice in the same day like us. LOL It definitely makes for long days. Sometimes I think we must be crazy. Oh well though, it's a good tired when you're done. :-)

Our next trial isn't till the middle of Feb. Hmmm....guess that's only a couple weeks away huh? Zoe is the only one entered there. It's an ASCA trial and Layla isn't old enough to run in ASCA yet. I really don't know when the next trial will be that Layla will run in at this point. I have a small workshop date in both March and April with Stacy Peardot-Goudy that Layla will be working in though. Besides that, I'd really like to be able to do some training on her A-frame, the weaves and some proofing with people before we enter another trial. She's still such a baby, there really isn't a rush, she's not even a 1 1/2 yet. She's got lots of time to trial. :-)

Thanks Diana. Raven has much better distance work than Zoe ever did. I guess with each dog we learn something for the ones that come later. Hopefully, Layla and Dare will benefit even more from what I've learned with Raven.

Well, gosh, we've been watching your videos on YouTube and waiting and waiting for the post about the trial! LOL! Just teasing you! It was fun - every time we went to YouTube, there was another video - it was exciting to see how well Layla and Raven did and seeing the videos one at a time kept the experience going longer than if we had come here to see them all at once.

I never spend 12 hours at a trial and mom has never run more than one dog or more than 2 runs per day ever. So I am not surprised that you needed some rest before blogging about it all!

When is your next trial? It will be fun to see what Layla thinks of her next one - I am sure you can convince her to stick with you until the run is over - just wave some chicken in front of her nose before her run - LOL!

You guys looked really good. Im impressed that you could get that tunnel - teeter distance challange in open fast. We have big problems with that. Miley always comes curving into me out of the tunnel. Layla looked really good. It didnt look like she meant to go over to the judge. I think she was just running and didnt realize she was going the wrong way until to late. But you were there and had a birds eye view. She did well anyways. Great job. Diana
