And Still More Weaving….

As I’ve already mentioned, we’ve been forced into the barn for training now because of the weather. Not only do we have snow on the ground, but the last few mornings, it’s been below zero. One morning it was 15 below zero, and yesterday was 8 below. Today we are back above zero, but it’s still miserable weather to be outside. Anyway, the reason I bring it up is that the barn makes it pretty difficult to video. There isn’t enough room to set a tripod up far enough away to get all 12 poles in the clip. Instead, I have to sucker someone into coming out to video for me. So, the video for today is really blurry because my husband was pretty close to us as Layla weaved past him. Regardless, I think you’ll be able to see that Layla is now weaving without any guides. Yay!!!

  1. Ricky,

I have to apologize for the negative tone of the post. I didn’t mean to sound so ungrateful for my barn. I love having someplace that I can train in the winter. I just had in mind that the quality of the videos may be pretty poor for the next little while. Sorry again! I’m glad that you asked me to do more video, because it helps me to be able to see what we’re doing.

  2. Wow great weaves. And I didnt think you sounded negative at all. OMG, Im complaining and its in the high 30′s here. I didnt go outside to take my dogs for a walk because I was to cold. So , you have every right to complain. Dont worry, we are tough and can handle it. Its makes us feel lucky. Lol Diana

  3. Thanks Diana. I am happy with how her weaves are coming along. I would love to see her get confidence and speed to get through them like Miley does someday!

  4. I didn’t think you sounded complaining either! I was sincere about thanking you for making the videos because I know what a pain it is to get the camera and the tripod or get someone to tape for you and then the lighting is bad or the space is no good and the editing is a pain! See who’s really complaining! LOL! We don’t let poor quality video stop us – LOL!
