So, I rarely get the chance to photograph Raven playing with the other dogs. Usually I only get to see her playing when I watch from the window when they are in the yard. It’s really odd. But…finally the other day I had the camera out and she and Layla started playing. Raven seems to be convinced that using the paw is the way to get play started. LOL She even switched feet once she got things rolling. The picture of the two of them at the end cracked me up. They looked over at me like. “What? We weren’t doing anything…”

Looks like Raven and Layla had lots of fun! It’s strange how some dogs love to play with other dogs and some don’t. I don’t care much for playing with dogs – I like to high-pitch bark at them but that’s it!
You took some great photos as always! My favorite is the first one – Raven’s paw and Layla’s wide open mouth – just too funny and cute!
AWww they look so good together!
It’s funny how some dogs won’t play when we are watching.
Awww…this is what Katie misses by being an “only.”

Ricky,
Everyone here will play at least a little with their “brother and sisters”, but as for playing with other dogs….only Twist and Layla really enjoy that. Even then, they only really like to play with dogs that are close to their size, otherwise, they’ll just sit on the sidelines and bark like you.
Cyn,
Yep, it’s weird, it’s like Raven doesn’t want to admit that she’s playing. LOL
Dawn,
I’m sure that what Katie might miss out on by being the only one in your house, is made up for by having your undivided attention!
