I’m not complaining, honest. LOL I love summertime, but doing much of anything in the middle of the day now has become nearly impossible because it’s really gotten hot the last week or so. We were talking at agility class today about changing classes over to an evening for the rest of the summer. Would be much nicer for the dogs and for us. Here’s a picture I got after all the dogs were out playing in the yard yesterday afternoon. It’s not a great picture quality wise, but just look at the length of that tongue!
Layla says “it’s hot, mom!”

What a sweety! So pretty too! I agree with the evening agility, it’s WAY too hot to have them running, not to mention the humans!
Dawns last blog post..It’s not all about Michael
I keep trying to remember when we were all complaining about the snow and cold, but it’s hard to do when my tongue is hanging out as far as Layla’s! We’re actually getting a break from the heat for the next few days. Thank goodness!
Dawn and Ricky,
Yep, it’s definitely time to relax in the afternoons where it’s cool, and get all our work done in the morning or evening. I don’t want winter to come back though, we love summertime!
That is such a great picture! I didn’t know she had such a long tonge lol
Thanks Cyn,
She was having a good time chasing Twist around the yard, and both of them had their tongues hanging out before they were done. LOL
Layla is getting so big!! Look at that tongue!!
Christys last blog post..WW – Dylan knows the underwater treadmill
Yeah, she’s growing up fast. She’s still a tiny little girl though. I think she’s still only about 11 inches tall, and she only weighs about 8 lbs.
The length of your tonque on the picture shows that its very hot. Great photo by the way.
