The Fetching Bag

So, we’ve been putting together a little bag full of items with all kinds of different textures that Layla can fetch. Here’s a picture of what she’s got in her bag. We started out with just basic stuffie type toys, and we’ve been adding things to the bag as time goes on. The plastic pudding cup is one of her personal favorites. LOL

I took some pictures of her fetching some of the stuff, but my lighting was worse than I thought today in the house, and my camera’s flash didn’t come up right. So all I got was a bunch of really blurry pictures. Sorry for the poor photo quality, but you get the idea.

It’s great that Layla fetches at all but to think that she will fetch all those different items! The cup would probably be my favorite too, if I were in to fetching!
Thanks for the comment you left about my video! Yes hopefully Raven and I will both be fast Shelties some day!
Hmmm. Katie loves to fetch, but mostly just her (multitude of) balls and stuffed toys. If she gets a paper towel cardboard tube she chews it into small squares of cardboard, and as for a pudding cup? Oh nooo, not giving THAT back! LOL! Layla is adorable!
Dawns last blog post..Extraordinarily ordinary
Cute!!!
Christys last blog post..WW Grandpa’s Little Helper!
Ricky,
This is the first time that I’ve ever made an effort to include so many different items in fetching. Layla is really doing a great job with everything!
The thing is that while she is pretty reliable about retrieving things in the house, outside…she tends to lose interest. I’ll have to figure out a way to work with that.
Dawn,
The same is true here of pudding cups and paper rolls if they fall into Twist’s paws! LOL He loves to take them and rip them up into tiny pieces.
Thanks Christy!
Blurry, but cute nonetheless. LOL
Marie, I’m starting to hate you
I can’t believe all of the fantastic things you think of for Layla to do. You are doing such an incredible job of bringing her up to be a superstar!! She’s going to end up with multiple Championships…I can tell that already.
Jim,
You make us laugh! Layla is just really putting my brain to the test to keep her busy. LOL When I came up to SL last time, Edie told me that I needed to pick out about 40 things to teach her, because she is just such a bright, busy little girl, and I shouldn’t let that go to waste
I have to tell you I can’t even begin to think of 40 things, but don’t tell Edie!
