Astrid,

Glad you caught us as we were heading out the door. Sure was nice to see everyone, and get to watch flyball in person for the first time!

Hi Fisher,

Thanks for dropping by! Yeah, I have to admit, looking at that picture makes me want to climb right back under the covers for a couple more hours of snoozing too!

Hi Dawn,

I don't really know the answer to your question. I do know that it's a very vulerable position to lay in, so the dog definitely isn't worrying about anything if they are sleeping like that. Layla tends to sleep like that alot. Makes me smile!

Heya Jim!

Yeah, I think she's pretty secure! The funny thing is that I snapped that photo the night she came home with us. She hadn't even really had time to settle in...but she didn't seem like she needed adjustment time either. LOL

You should have seen her driving down to the flyball tourney last weekend. She was sleeping in her crate upside down, just like in the picture and her little paws were bouncing in the air as the car hit bumps. It was the funniest thing. I wished I'd have had my camera then!

She really is just a gem! I'm so thoroughly enjoying her! :-)

Lindsay,

I have one picture of our Border Collie, Maddie and Max, our Russian Blue cat curled up next to each other. Both have long since passed away, but it remains one of my favorite pictures!

Christy,

Interesting you say that...I look back and I've only got a few pictures of each dog sleeping, while I have tons of others. Maybe I'm so tired by the time they actually go to sleep that I'm too lazy to get back up and get the camera. LOL

The photo of such dedication to sleeping makes me want to just go take a nap - with a smile on my face.
