I didn’t want to post till I actually had the entry in, but Zoe qualified for the AKC National Agility Championships this year! I’m really proud of her, I’ve been so fortunate to have her as my first agility dog.
This year the Nationals are being held in North Carolina at the end of March. Yes, I know…it’s an absurdly long way to drive from Utah for an agility trial! LOL However, my husband and I decided to take his vacation time from work and drive out there to compete in the trial, and then sightsee on our way home. We did that a few years ago when we went to St. Louis for the Sheltie Nationals, and we had a great time. So hopefully this trip will be just as much fun!
I’m excited and nervous and anxious, all at the same time.

Wow! Congratulations! That is so awesome!
Congratulations! Looking forward to hearing all about it when you go!
Thanks Christy!
I am looking forward to it. It’s not the fancy AKC Invitational that you see on TV or anything, but it’s a pretty big deal for us…
Thanks Ricky!
We’ll try to get lots of pictures and keep everybody up to date when we go!
Woo Hoo congrats how fun that will be! I hope to see you on the TV!!

Wow, that’s awesome! You and Zoe deserve it for all your hard work. I hope it’s on TV or that you get a video of it to show us.
Lindsay,
Thanks so much! I’ll try to get video, but I doubt we’ll be on TV. AKC has an yearly National Agility Invitational, and to go to that one you have to be like in the top 5 ranked dogs in your breed that year. We’ll probably never qualify for that one. That’s the big trial that’s usually televised. The one that we are going to you do have meet a certain number of requirements, but you don’t have to ranked in your breed.
