I’m soo proud of Twist! He has come such a long way since we adopted him. Yesterday we were entered in an obedience trial to finish off that last leg for his CD. The trial site was going to be a challenge I knew since it is outdoors and they were holding an agility trial and conformation shows at the same site. Well, it was a big challenge. He was more distracted at this site than I’ve seen him in a long time, so I was glad that we only entered the one day. His heeling was no where near what he normally does, but it passed. His recall and stand for exam were beautiful. He ended up with a 187 and third place in his class. They had pretty ribbons for placements, but bummer…no title ribbons! Oh well, Twist could care less about ribbons, just show him the treats!

Aww, what a good boy. Congrats, and good work with him!

Thanks Lindsay. I’m really excited for he and I to move into Open Obedience next. Should be really interesting work for both of us!
Congratulations!
Cynthia was talking about it on her way out.
We are all happy for you!
Thanks Astrid!
September has turned out to be a great month for both Zoe and Twist. In fact I couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish up our Obedience and Agility trials for the year than for Zoe to get her MACH and Twist to get his CD. Now we can just relax and enjoy training for next years trials!
Congrats to you and twist!! YIPEE!!
